FREE Quick-Page teaser!

Good morning! Amazingly it's the end of June, which means that we are getting ready for our annual Fourth of July trek to Michigan. So this may be my only post for a few days. I do have my July grab bag coming out on Saturday and it's a GOOD ONE!! It contains some of the best stuffs I've designed so far (in my humble opinion, of course!). One of the mini kits is called Fiorellino and I used it to make this fun quick page. Just click to DL and enjoy!

Have a wonderful week and stop back later in the week; I'll have previews of my grab bag posted!

See the USA and Star Spangled Petals...new at SBE today!

My parents set a goal to show us as much of the United States as possible. They even bought a pop-up camper so that we were able to travel to more places on a tight budget. While I still lived at home, we made it to 35 of the states and my parents have been to all 48 of the contiguous states. One of my goals is to go through their pictures and scrapbook them into a states album. This was the inspiration for this set. It includes a full page border with each state's shape, capital, statehood date, flower, bird and various landmarks. There is a note about the font in the TOU in the event that you wish to erase something and include your own places/events. Perfect for vacation albums, reports or an ongoing journal that gets filled in as you travel/learn. There is also a flag frame included for your scrapping pleasure!
Also new today is is a fun, flowery way to accent your red, white and blue pages. Star Spangled Petals includes 6 unique flowers, each torn, glittered and centered with a charming button. Each one comes by itself and hung from a string, for a total of twelve elements. There is also an embellished staple included to use with the hanging flowers if desired.

Both are available in my shop at Scrapbook-Elements.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Sweet Song of You - new in the store and 25% off!

Today brings a new mini kit to my MLAS shop, called Sweet Song of You. It has nothing to do with music (lol) and everything to do with anyone special in your life. The color palette was a challenge for me (pink and red do NOT go together; it does something to my eyes, lol), but in the end, I love how it turned out.

It's available in the Mama Mia Shop and is 25% off through Friday.

Don't forget about the blog contest in the post below (and the freebie in the post below THAT)...I have a new and wonderful July Grab Bag coming out here shortly and $5 will easily get you that and then some!

Signing off to ready myself for swim lessons and VBS! Have a great day!

Did you use my free mini kit below? You could win a $5 gc to my MLAS shop!

In the midst of playing Wii fit with six children (it was very painful and be glad there are no photos to document the event), I came up with an idea for a little contest. It's very simple...download the free mini kit in the post below, then leave me a link to your LO in the comment area and on Friday, 6/26, I'll choose a lucky winner (or two) to receive a $5 gift card to my Mama Mia Shop at My Life and Scrap. Sound easy enough?

A few minor details: You can use other papers/elements/alphas, as long as the majority of your LO is from the Thank You Mini Kit. Deadline to leave me a link will be 6/26 at noon e.s.t.

Have a great day and happy scrapping!

Shhhh...the children are still sleeping...and a freebie, if you're quiet!

I know for many families that 7:30 a.m. is still "quiet hour" - but around this house, we are usually breakfasted, dressed and they're begging to play outside and/or have gum. Regardless of the hour my children go to bed, they are ALL early risers...like 6 or 6:30. When I realized this with the oldest, I thought it was just the way it goes; some kids don't need as much sleep as others. However, it quickly became apparent that they ALL are like this. They were all sleep-trained and slept thru the night fairly early as infants...what is wrong with our genes??! I have to say they do get it honestly; once my eyes open, my brain switch turns to ON and I am on the move, regardless of the hour. So I am taking full advantage of this as it will probably not happen again within the next 364 days!

Happy Father's Day to any dads out there! My dh is out of town but will be returning this afternoon. We are going to my dad's house for lunch (I invited him for dinner but there's a race on at 4:30, ya know!). Both he and my husband are getting pics I had taken this week of the kids...

Anyway, enough rambling. As a thank you for stopping by, I have this little mini kit for you. Although it's done in red, white and blue ('tis the season, you know), it's not geared to have a patriotic theme. Hope you enjoy it and stop back often...be on the lookout for more freebies, give-a-ways and a contest or two now and then!

DL here.

Have a great day!
